Kate Winslet Pencil Portrait – I

There once was a girl,
Her name was Lizzy,
She skipped, she jumped,
Till she was dizzy,
Her dress was white,
Her blood was red,
She skipped, she jumped,
Till she was…..dead.

One of those portraits that one cant do without. I saw it and I knew I had to draw it. I must mention that the kind of rugged paper I use for portraits makes it a lot tougher for me to draw the intricacies of skin. This paper that I use, got a heavy level of grain, which one can easily see in full view. I wish I could find a proper paper for my portraits, but I like bending my fingers and working them out coz the end result is always great here.

I wanna dedicate her to LeaSmith (of DeviantARt), who has got the eyes of an artist and can come out with most practical mistakes in the works of art. Believe me ive been seeing that for a few of my last deviations and im sure she is goin to hit me again this time, but lea knows that I appreciate it, I appreciate the keenness with which she explores the depths of my works. After all its pretty much a flattering thought for myself, that someone with such zeal watches me and it always pushes me to do some more quality work. In one word: thanks!!
